Update on statue of Tom Seaver who is dead and won’t be able to see it

Should we put up a statue? No let’s wait 30 more years until he’s dead.

Here are some updates about the Seaver statue and YES I do hope my headline stirred your blood.  While it’s great that there is finally a statue, it is a shame that Tom is not around to enjoy it.  The man retired in 1987, the Mets had 30+ years to do something about this but they waited too long.  Stupid Cheap Wilpons.
