Jake Eisenberg (WHOOOOO???) will fill in for Howie Rose on Mets radio

The voice of the Omaha Storm-Chasers and 2017 graduate of the University of Maryland, Jake Eisenberg will be Howie Rose’s backup this season.  Howie is expected to blow off skip the West Coast trips.

You Iron Eagle fanatics will love him. Fortunately, radio is dead to me so I will never hear him.

Now as Admiral Kirk once said, this is damn peculiar. We are going to have to follow the money. I imagine it will turn out either that he’s got the right agent (maybe Keith’s agent, and if you follow the money, anytime something on SNY makes no sense it comes back to that agency) – or he’s someone’s nephew.

But like I said, radio is dead to me because of the WOR Wah-wah era and the MLB App having awful levels.  You don’t need to tell me it’s fixed or about the WCBS streaming.  They broke the habit and I moved on.

And yes I know he did Cyclones games.  Whatever.
