Pete Alonso is back baby! Why would you trade him and get in front of this rebuild when you can either let him walk after next season, get less for him next season, or saddle yourself with a one dimensional player for a decade because you don’t want to be unpopular on twitter.
I haven’t watched the Mets since Game 2, but it’s good to see Gary Cohen still mailing in home run calls like he’s a video game. Again, this is no different than what John Sterling does…

At least on this other home run Gary put some effort into things…but let’s all ignore that tis is a 301 foot fly out in every other stadium other than Fake New Yankee Stadium, which might actually be the worst stadium in the majors once the A’s move. But at the end of year the Pete crowd will forget the details and just look at the HR column, as the Mets finish 4th with Pete’s tremendous contribution. LGM.
