Baseball Is Back: MLB’s two biggest stars are in NYC and Times Square shows SOCCER

The Baseball Is Back crowd needs to wake up.  I get that Trout is out and Ohtani is half-out, but these are supposedly MLB’s two biggest stars.  A third of the T-Shirt army apparently couldn’t be bothered to use their tickets on Friday.  There’s zero buzz on these two baseball stars.  Meanwhile in Times Square….

Messi lights up Times Square! Soccer fans celebrate the World Cup winner’s goal on his MLS debut in the heart of the Big Apple as Inter Miami’s win over New York Red Bulls is shown live (per The Mirror)

Go ahead and show today’s Mets game in Times Square and send me the screenshots.  Go ahead baseball, I double dare you.

Meanwhile, Steve Cohen’s Mets are well into last place and nobody cares.  Apathy is death Steve.  You are losing the fanbase.  You don’t want apathy.  When 1/3 of the Army can’t be bothered, you’ve really screwed he pooch.

Anyone got any leftover Sell The Team t-shirts?
