I see the Mets want to celebrate the day they let a guy who has missed an entire season throw 134 pitches. This was one of the most reckless examples of managing of all-time and basically ended the guys career.
I think there are still a few stragglers who will deny that this had anything to do with Santana’s career ending. Those folks want us to believe something something someone stepped on Santana’s foot, messed up his mechanics blah blah. Stop, you sound silly. Go watch your commemorative DVD.
