Marcus Stroman has opted out. I cannot fault someone for putting his health and his family’s health first. I see some rabble rousing about service time and hey I will take the man at his word. If it turns out his word cannot be trusted that’s another story. I am just glad I won’t have to look at someone wearing a zero where a uniform number belongs.

Also, and while I don’t blame Wags for the Pandemic (as Covid is not repped by CAA to the best of my knowledge) it is worth noting that Wags mortgaged the future for 11 starts.
Stroman’s Mets career likely ends with a record of 4 wins and 2 losses.
