The Mets didn’t send me a press release, so I may have incomplete information, but I see on social media that the Mets have promoted Zack Michael Scott to Acting GM.
If I recall correctly, and again, the Mets did not send me a press release so my information may be faulty, Scott spent six years as a general manager in Scranton before moving on to Colorado.
As for avoiding another Porter scandal, I don’t think we have to worry. I googled Scott quotes and fond this one.
