Sterling or Scully: Gary Cohen calls a Pete Alonso walk-off home run

Once a week, Pete Alonso homers, and sometimes he does it in a big spot.

Going into this post I assumed Gary nailed it but….jeez…here’s a guy who seems to no longer sees the ball well whatever is going on….and tries to force a catch phrase…should I force it, should I not….is it out, is it not….and this call is a mess.

 

Verdict: a very disappointing Sterling
