I was bouncing around for content this morning – and there really is NOTHING going on – the guys at the Amazing Apple Insiderized Mets Blog Report are – and I am serious here – are writing about the defensive WAR of 1969 Mets like Art Shamsky and Buddy Harrelson. I can imagine my father having zero interest in that conversation. I can imagine my son having zero interest in that conversation. I know I have zero interest in that conversation.
But, I get it AAIMBR millennials, you guys gotta fill the content holes. I do too. I just do hats, which I know are lame but I AM NOT EVEN TRYING. I feel like you guys are trying. Just throw up a cap post and be done for the day because…
NOBODY CARES ABOUT BASEBALL RIGHT NOW.
Tomorrow will be all about football, and baseball has zero buzz to lock onto because THE BILLIONAIRES LOCKED OUT THE MILLIONAIRES.
I went to Mets.com – they have nothing. Then I bounced over to the T Shirt Guy’s Place and oh yeah Scherzer is on the team. TTSG is selling some sort of election themed deGrom/Scherzer shirts that people are buying for some reason – let’s just say if we rank the Top 100 TTSG Ts this might not make the list – but oh yeah, Scherzer is on the team.
Normally that would be exciting, but we are like two weeks away from pitchers and catchers not reporting and three or four away from spring training games coming off the schedule.
I have 11 Star Wars movies, plus Mando and Boba Fett….could do a Clone Wars rewatch if I get that far, there are 22 good Marvel Movies, the first 700 hours of Star Trek before Kurtzman took over, I could rewatch 11 seasons of M*A*S*H, I could read books, I could go outside….and all that before I fire up X-Box Games Pass. I am seriously fine if MLB never comes back.
But anyway, Scherzer is on the Mets. Normally I’d use a picture of him in a Mets uniform but that doesn’t exist. So I will imagine it looks like this.
