Wait, did nobody ASK Matt Harvey about coke even after sending security to his house?

Remember this?

Mets sent security officers to Matt Harvey’s home after his no-show

Now take a look at today’s testimony.

So….is Matt misremembering?  Maybe someone DID ask? Or maybe we need to legally parse “really asked”

Or maybe nobody asked.  Wouldn’t you ask?  The guy seemed to be enjoying the NYC nightlife, and the Mets were worried enough to send security to his house.  It doesn’t seem to me to be a crazy thing to ask.

He had a bloody nose on the mound at least twice before the security incident.  Nobody thought to ask?  How many other incidents of pitchers with bloody noses do you remember?  Nobody thought to ask?  Or maybe nobody thought to “really ask.”

Anyway, Sandy Alderson was in charge of the Mets at that time.  Billy Eppler was in charge of the 2019 Angels.

Who knew what and when did they know it?

Updates…..

A trusted source (really, no schtick) reminds me of an occurrence of Ervin Santana pitching with a bloody nose in 2011 (for Anaheim).

A different trusted source made sure I saw this.

I personally trust Adam implicitly.
