Mets drafted 10 more players who apparently weren’t deemed worthy of paragraphs

The Mets drafted some more guys but couldn’t be bothered to have the intern write up a paragraph about them. I am sure they are all awesome.

FLUSHING, N.Y., July 19, 2022 – The New York Mets today made 10 selections in rounds 11-20 to complete their 2022 First-Year Player Draft.

Below are the Mets’ 10 picks from day three of the 2022 First-Year Player Draft:

But the Mets didn’t bother writing anything.  It takes two minutes (each).  Here, I will do Rhylan Thomas for them.

Rhylan Thomas is a 6-0 outfielder from USC.

In 2021, Thomas ppeared in 49 games, making 47 starts for the Trojans batting .356

The 22 year old hails from Newbury Park, Calif. and is majoring in real estate development so I bet he wishes the Wilpons still owned things.

See Mets, that wasn’t hard.  And I don’t want to hear “well, the staff is at the All Star Game…” because (a) life is hard, (b) sometimes you have to work harder and (c) did the draft sneak up on you today? Plan better and (d) maybe MLB should have thought about this when they moved the draft.
