Baseball is dying. If they are paying attention they see the attention that Taylor brought to the NFL.
Imagine if Taylor Swift managed the Mets. There really isn’t anything to do from a baseball standpoint – all she has to do is do whatever David Stearns says, that’s what this job is – so whether she knows anything about baseball or not doesn’t matter. Just get her a good bench coach.
As the first woman to manage a MLB team, she will be making history and breaking down barriers. That’s the sort of thing that appeals to Taylor.
Uncle Steve likes to be popular, so if he writes a big check to Taylor he will be popular with the Swifities.
Gelbs will become a media superstar as the guy who gets to ask, “Taylor, how did it feel when…” after every game.
Citi Field will be packed….and every road game will be an event.
The Mets will become a major worldwide brand.

Will Taylor Swift manage the 2024 Mets? Probably not, but only because the Mets tend to be stupid. This is actually a no brainer.
