Set the DVRs: Â Omar Minaya is on whatever the 7pm show on SNY is called (Hot Stove?) and then at 7:30 it’s Mets Yearbook 1976!
The ’76 mets won 86 games! Â Young lefty Jon Matlack won 17 games, and Jerry Koosman won 21!
Dave Kingman hit 37 home runs back when 37 was a lot (it once was kids), and these youngsters Stearns and Mazzilli look very promising!
If Seaver can rebound from 14 wins, I bet 1977 will be one of the best years in Mets history!
Set the DVRs? I actually discovered a stupid issue with that, the show names are all unique, so while I recorded the first episodes, the second had a different date and it didn’t record! Grr!
I don’t watch hot stove stuff, does Omar usually go on? Or does he have something to announce (not Tatis)? Because it’s not like he’s going to say anything in detail about his plans and who he’s talking to anyway. He’s going to give the same rhetoric. (Confident in Nieve, while he’s working on a trade)
Yeah Mets yearbook is hard to catch..often not guided correctly on Fios.
Omar does not usually appear. It is a good show though, and pairs up nicely with Yearbook.
