MLB’s Top selling jerseys: none are black Mets jerseys

We’ve all heard that “black sells”….

Eleven different teams are represented in the Top 20, but there are notable big market teams without a single player in the top 20 including the New York Mets, the Chicago Cubs and the Los Angeles Dodgers.

…well if you ask me, winning sells.

If you look at the list you’ll see the Yankees (Jeter and A-Rod – and a team that never changes their look)…and players from teams like the Rangers, Phillies, Twins and the Giants.

I think if the Mets ever win the World Series they’ll sell tons of Wright, Reyes and Davis jerseys.  So why not have a nicer looking product without dropshadow…or should the Yankees wear black jerseys?

  1. As far as the Yankees, their navy blue is close enough to black to sell. Cubs, Dodgers and Mets all have blue. Hmmm…

  2. Don’t count on any Reyes jerseys being sold.

I feel pretty good in saying that, “We are not winning the world series this year and that Reyes will not be wit us next year!

  3. I just read that the Giants still sell and stock their old all black jersey because it sells out.
