During the game tonight I am hearing Let’s Go Giants chants.
Maybe it’s three guys sitting under the crowd mike?
Is there nobody to shout them down?
…
Updated: I hunted around Twitter. Seems a local bar where Giants fans in NYC gather sponsored an outing. One fan named @jeffstricklin tweeted this pic
All that’s fine but where the heck was the Let’s Go Mets chant????
Fred must be very angry…his stadium is rooting for the Dodgers’ hated rival the Giants.
Same as last night!…Really Sad!…We cant score either!!!
16 Strikeouts!..Can’t win if you don’t score..This team is UGLY!
Is this season OVER yet?
Spring Training is only 9 months away!
Q: ” … where the heck was the Let’s Go Mets chant?”
A: Very difficult to hear the Mets fans cheering while wearing those paper bags over their heads.
Anybody watching Collins’ post-game conference? Once again, he’s all but saying in as many words that the team needs to “Man Up and Play Better” (or as I prefer to put it, “Grow a pair”). I think he actually almost said “got to have some balls” once before stopping himself. I’ve transcribed that particular exchange on my blog. You be the judge.
I’m planninga full report tomorrow. I’ll let you know. btw, I doubt the Mets care. They’ll just repackage the Giants games as “Premium” next year. At least someone’s going to the games right? 😛
Our teeth were chattering and we were freezing our tuchas off.
Most Mets fans must have had the sense to stay home and watch on TV – we have 81 chances to see our team. Like Roger said, those of us who went were freezing.
The Giants fans get three shots to see their team in New York, and three more in Philly (if they can get tickets). Of course they went & made the most of it.
Same Tuesday night. We were surrond by Giants fans. Enve the 7 train headed back to the City was packed. The fans did get a few “Lets go Mets” chants off.
they were pretty loud in washington too.
the name of the bar is called finnerty’s where all the giants fans meet up’
next year, buy them drinks so they will be too loaded to go to the ball park
