The article mentions that 30,000 seats have been sold, Dave Howard says it is an expensive event to do but it will profitable, and they are working on one more soccer game.
I’d like to see the New New York Cosmos play in the MLS in Queens. I imagine regular soccer would destroy the grass..but maybe some day there will be something nicer looking than tire shops on the other side of 126th.
