The Daily News reports that the Mets are interested in doing an anti-bullying campaign with someone, but not necessarily the group It Gets Better (the Giants did a video with them.)
Asked about doing a video specifically about gay youth:
“Yeah, I would certainly do that,” said Jason Bay. “I would be glad to.”
R.A. Dickey agreed, saying, “Sure I would. That is an important cause.

As I asked a few people on twitter. I wonder if Thole would participate in a piece concerning bullying over social media.
I hope they do it. Would be a step in the right direction, especially considering the amount of homophobic garbage you hear uttered in the stands.
Yeah I agree – the culture is changing and some people stick to spewing hateful garbage way too much. Almost makes me glad Bay’s a Met … almost.
