I gotta say, this Terry Collins fellow is doing a good job. Sure there are things we can nitpick (and shockingly I’m not going to), but I can’t help wondering what he’d do with Ike, Wright and even a 50% Santana.
Meanwhile between Sanday and Terry, we haven’t seen any of the clownfest type behavior that surrounded the team in the recent years. Sure the owner still doesn’t know how to do a magazine interview, and Prevention and Recovery hasn’t taken hold – but all in all this is a fun season and Colactus has them playing well.
If the Mets even finish within 6 of the wild card, Collins should be Manager of the Year, and with each passing day, Omar Minaya looks like a bigger buffoon.
Also, have you noticed how invisible Jeff Wilpon suddenly is? Bud Selig should have started making “recommendations” years ago.
