Man, this is crushing to me.
I feel so bad for this guy. Sandy says he’s likely heading for the DL.
Assuming he’s done for the year, he finished at a great .320. He only has 420ish plate appearances so he won’t qualify for a batting title (Votto was second last year with .320 to Carlos Gonzalez at .336)
He’ll be fighting for playing time from the first second, with second base now Justin Turner’s to lose.
