You know what…as much as I hate losing…as much as I think the mission should be to win the World Series every year….this is a mess, and we probably would be smart to eat some more crappiness.

I’ll be there with my son, enjoying the new uniforms, celebrating the 50th, rooting for Duda and Gee and Murph and Niese, and I’ll be there when all the frontrunners come back.
Sometimes a baseball game is just a day out in the sun. I attend Cubs games every year and have a great time. I root for the Cubs for three hours and it’s a good time. I was at a Giants-A’s pre-season game and rooted for the Formerly’s for three hours. It was fun.
On twitter yesterday I floated the “Omar” moves of signing Reyes, Fielder and C.J. Wilson. Do you think that would win the east? To me, it makes for three days of fun winter chat, a little buzz in March, and several more years of tied up payroll.
