Nope, this isn’t an accidental re-post of old news. I got home at 7, my new jersey arrived, and then I checked twitter and boom – the Mets got another $40 million loan. Cue more negativity.
The team described the arrangement as a “bridge loan,” meant to aid them as they try to raise money through the sale of minority stakes in the club.
