Interesting.
I truly hope Wayne finds happiness and a 30 year gig as the voice of the somebody else’s.
To my ears he never sounded quite right on the Mets broadcasts, and the Howie/Eddie Coleman booth was much more comfortable.
It will be interesting to see who they stick in there. I’m holding out hope that Howie decides to go all Vin Scully and just do the game by himself, but that will never happen.
It’s doubtful Wayne Hagin will be back for a fifth year as Howie Rose’s partner in the Mets radio booth. Hagin’s contract has expired and WFAN has been interviewing possible replacements. Hagin previously called Rockies, Cardinals, Giants and A’s games.
