I ran into Pete – owner of the wonderfully hideous Piazza Mercury Mets jersey. He was there with his family and what does the son of a Mercury Mets jersey owner wear? Why not a classic Mets pillbox cap!
While waiting to meet Mr. Seaver the guy behind me had this cap ready to be signed
Speaking of Seaver, it was a little weird to me waiting to meet him while one of the monitors was showing the press conference when he was traded
Lastly I just have to throw this in – those patches look so good
