Mr. The 7 Line is quite upset about a Mets themed shirt that Majestic is apparently selling.
Hopefully the Mets will be just as upset. Come on Dave..pick up the phone…

What irks me about the (referenced) t-shirt is that as a Mets fan why would I ever want to give Majestic more of my money after they (bleep) on my team? A fan brands whole clientele would be gone if we ever released a negative shirt towards our own team. What makes it O.K. that a corporate company like Majestic thinks they can get away with it?

A quick browse of Majestic’s web site also showed a Boston Red Sox “We Own New York” tee, a Giants “Beat L.A.” tee, and a rather insulting Yankees tee with Boston’s socks logo in pinstripes.
If the argument is that Majestic shouldn’t be picking on one particular team, they’re not. If the argument is that they should stay out of the smack business altogether, I fail to see why, though everyone is certainly entitled to their opinion.
