The Mets .. So what IS wrong w them? Can’t blame Donald Grant anymore? Or can we? I dunno. There are a lot of things about the Mets I like, such as their connection to NL heritage, the Dodgers & the Giants, and to Brooklyn, by virtue of their uniform and stadium, but I think with that inheritance comes scare WS victories. Black jerseys .. not the delimiting factor in my book, but rather the symptom of a malaise.
