One of my fellow bloggers pointed this out.. It appears to be a left over bat from Jose Reyes’ tenure on the Mets. I think Valdespin was using it during BP. I have no clue if he uses it during games.

it had the #1 on the handle but I never actually saw Valdespin. Did that bat give us what would’ve been Reyes’ 100th triple last night?
