Mets Police fans, today is a great day. Mets Blog is reporting that….
Now that last question is phrased VERY interestingly Maybe the Mets have been working on this on their own, maybe they read the blogs, maybe they actually read the Mets Police article Helping the Mets get rid of black uniforms. (The timing sure is interesting – we’ve been on the uni kick all week – but there are plenty of other places like Uni Watch who harp on this all the time).
Who knows? If you took time to read the post, share it or comment about it – let’s all feel good.
Matt Cerrone, good guy who has been good to us, adds that they ask for feedback on a whole bunch of looks including presumably this image that Matt included in his article.
I don’t like the look on the left (the NY thing makes me think Yankee ripoff) but at least it is blue and orange – so I’ll take that over black if we can get it (and then keep it for 50 years).
I think it’s great that the Mets are asking the fans about this stuff. If it turns out that y’all love black uniforms I will stop giving the Mets grief on this one.
Cerrone also mentions that the survey includes a question about what to name the Citi Field bridge.
I have not recieved the survey, but if anyone has and would be kind enough to pass it along – just use the [email protected] email address, and we’ll get it up here as soon as we can on a Little League weekend where it’s 75 and sunny.
I’m really excited they are doing this – there are lots of comments coming in about the uniforms and I’ll get those up over the weekend.
Here’s Cerrone’s Mets Blog Article and here’s my thoughts on alternates.
