I couldn’t believe my eyes last night when I saw the Yankees take the field at 9:45pm.
Blah blah gotta get the game in. It was day one of a four game set. They could make up the game Saturday night. So far I see no mention of a hook-up to either the fans who stuck it out, or those who reasonably thought starting the game 2:45 late was a good reason not to show up.
The Yankees are winning every day and are in first place so I’m sure they are in the mode where any cranky fan can go hose themselves, but it doesn’t make it right.
