If you ever get the opportunity to meet Ed Kranepool, definitely do it. He was never really a great player, but he is an integral part of Mets history, and just simply great to talk to.

When you send a hand written letter when mailing player cards?
Not hand written – I sent out way too many for that. But I do try to personalize each letter I send in some way, even if it’s just stating the player’s name and the specific cards I am sending him.
I do sign each letter though
