That stinks. All I had to look forward to was rooting for this kid to go like 7-2 down the stretch.
What’s left to root for? Third place? Wright to get to 10 home runs? A Cy Young for Santana?
I know for me I always struggle with the August West coast trip. Warm weather, 10:30 starts and NFL exhibition games tend to distract me. This year the trip is a little earlier than usual – but I don’t see myself staying up late for Padres and Diamondback games. Maybe a Parnell start would be halfway interesting. Billy Wagner’s return – well who cares, if he’s awesome he’s still a goner.
Come back in the morning and I will tell you who I think will be managing the team in 2010. Not who you think I’d say.
