Last week, at the N.F.L. convention in Phoenix, Al Davis, the Raiders’ managing general partner, said it was conceivable that the Raiders might seek a move to New York. Asked where the team could play if the Jets decided not to seek a move out of the city, the Brooklyn-born Mr. Davis replied: ”Yankee Stadium. Shea Stadium. We’d find a place.”
