So message number one to the fans is that ticket sales are up 19 percent.
Isn’t that important to you Mr or Miss Mets Fan? Aren’t you glad to hear ticket sales are up? (As the great Greg Prince pointed out on twitter this appears to be boilerplate from a press release.)
Then we get around to the postseason. And a scoreboard.
So there’s your message Mets fans: Tickets, playoffs, giant scoreboard.
As other examples James offers the White Sox and the Cardinals.
My advice to the Mets? Let Greg Prince write the next one.
