The price point is cheaper then last year’s if I am not mistaken. I think it was $200 a person last year.
FLUSHING, N.Y., May 13, 2015 – The New York Mets and Metropolitan Hospitality today announced that the 2015 Citi Field Sleepover presented by bedgear™ will be held on Saturday, June 20 at Citi Field beginning at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale now at Mets.com/Sleepover.
Fans with sleeping bags will have the opportunity to sleep on the Citi Field outfield grass where all the best outfielders in baseball roam while those with tents will be able to set up on the warning track. All participants will enjoy watching the Mets take on the Atlanta Braves on PIX 11 from Atlanta on Citi Field’s new 62% larger high-definition centerfield video board. Following the game, “The Lego Movie” will be shown. Fans will also enjoy Fan Fest games, an appearance by a special Met alumni, snacks, limited concessions for purchase and breakfast in the morning. In addition, fans will be able to meet and have their picture taken with Mr. and Mrs. Met. Fans attending the Citi Field Sleepover will receive a ticket to the Mets game on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 vs. San Diego.
Admission to those 12 and over can enjoy the event for $85. Children 5-12 years-old can spend the night under the stars for $70 while all kids under five years of age will receive free admission. Gates open at 6:30 p.m. Last year, more than 300 fans attended the Citi Field Sleepover on July 19.
