I seem to be the only person who is upset that the Mets gave up the division lead. Twitter is rationalizing itself with all sorts of “well, if I had told you that on May 21st the Mets would be…” nonsense. THEY BLEW IT.

Trades need to be made. Having 17 starting pitchers does you no good if the team can’t score. I want 100 games of Wally Backman. Let’s find out if Wally is really going to steal babies and spit on grandmothers, or if he can win with the same guys he won with in Las Vegas.
