SNY DEBUTS NEW SERIES “AMAZIN’ FINISHES”

Half-Hour Show Premieres Friday, August 21st at 7pm
[New York, August 18, 2015] – Buckle in and hold on as SNY, the official television home of the New York Mets, New York Jets and all things New York sports, recounts the most heart pounding Mets finishes since the network’s inaugural season in 2006. Amazin’ Finishes takes a year-by-year look at the team’s most exciting comebacks, big hits, clutch performances and walk-off homers — all on full display for Mets fans to relive. The series is hosted by SNY’s Steve Gelbs.
Amazin’ Finishes kicks off Friday, August 21st at 7pm with a countdown of the most memorable moments from the 2006 season, which saw the Mets win 97 games and capture the National League East crown. Led by a star-studded roster including David Wright, Jose Reyes, Carlos Beltran and Carlos Delgado, the 2006 season was filled with outstanding individual and team performances, and ultimately ended with the club falling just one game short of a World Series appearance.
Upcoming episode premieres of Amazin’ Finishes will highlight exceptional finishes from the 2007 season on Sunday, August 30 at 5pm and the 2008 season on Friday, September 11 at 6pm.
