David Wright returns, in non-uniform uniform

David Wright is back to his rule defying ways.  If you read the MLB rules and flip down to rule 3.03(b) it appears to me that all players on a team need to wear the same color undershirt (if the undershirt is exposed).

The other Mets were wearing blue undershirts, but Mr. Captain did this!

So my question to you, and to MLB, is what other rules might be optional?  Do the Mets have to bat in order?  Can they use a DH?  Can they fraternize with players on the other team while in uniform?

Now I ask you…what’s the difference between a non-uniform undershirt and say a non-uniform cap, maybe one that says FDNY on it.  Ah, now you’re with me.

Anyway, I look forward to seeing how the league handles this non-uniform situation!

Much thanks to @philhecken for bringing this to my attention…I didn’t get in until 9 and hadn’t known this was happening.
