OK, get where I am coming from? Anyway, I was watching a movie and saw Captain America (Steve Rogers in the Marvelverse) get his powers. Doesn’t he get his super-powers by Cousin Yuri injecting him with a serum or something like that?
Now in the Marvelverse that’s really cool apparently, but in Major League Baseball Steve Rogers would be suspended for 50 games. I don’t recall anyone ever making this connection before, we all just looked at David Wright being on the Team USA team in the completely silly World Baseball Classic, and he’s a captain and you put it together and you get Captain America.
So I get it, but now that I pointed this out, it’s kinda weird.
