Twitter sources say the lines getting into Citi Field today were/are quite long as newbies ignore the RF gate and the bullpen gate (and even the LF gate) as quick ways to enter the stadium.
And as part of my concerns about Security Theater, I will point out that bad guys can also do bad things 50 feet away from a stadium….I hope they never do, but let’s not kid ourselves about the bottlenecks at the gates really helping all that much.
Meanwhile, one intrepid tweeter said the gnomes were gone by 3pm. Remember there were only 15,000 which is less than giveaways used to be in the old days.
This is the line to get into Citi Field today. Anyone closer to the front of the line wanna let me cut? 😊 #Mets pic.twitter.com/7novyF7WXE
