For the Game 6 broadcast I would have hired Gary Thorne to do a dark ending

I see many of you enjoyed last night’s broadcast of Game 6 of the 1986 World Series.  If it were up to me, I would have tried to pull off one of the greatest punk jobs ever.

I would have hired Gary Thorne to record a fake dark ending.   The Mets go down 1-2-3 and the Red Sox win.

Can you imagine the last night if that were broadcast?
