As Mets fans we like all Mets teams. However, in our honest moments we admit to ourselves that we like the 1986 team more than the 1992 team.
Yesterday, as I was listening to the lineup, I realized I like last year’s team more. Sure a LOT of that has to do with Murph being gone, but David is gone, Duda is gone, and now my buddy The Dark Knight is gone….so once again it starts to be “Guys In Mets Uniforms.”
Some of these “Guys In Mets Uniforms” have played well (Walker, Loney). But I don’t feel attached. I somehow felt more attached to Uribe.
