I am randomly wearing my red Team USA jersey from 4 years ago today, so as chance would have it, a report from @johnmorosi of MLB Network says that Daniel Murphy will be on Team USA in the completely unnecessary stupidly timed World Baseball Classic that I won’t watch.
I will of course buy a Murphy USA jersey (probably will buy all 3 because I’m a fan an idiot) so I can continue to remind you all that you have been wrong about the two time All Star since 2010.
If the past can predict the future, expect Murph (like many past WBC players) to have a sub-par injury plagued season.
All that adds up to Good For The Mets.
