I hereby propose the Mets hold 1977 Night on June 15, 1977.
Yes this idea is insane…however, think about it….how it could be awesome.
June 15, 1977 is etched in the minds of all fans of a certain age. It’s one of the worst days in Mets history. Let’s run right at the karma and turn it around.
I’m not sure what would happen on 1977 Night yet – throwbacks would be fun, and the opponent Nationals could wear Expos jerseys, which would be loved by many baseball fans.
