Slackish Reaction: I had the weirdest dream. The Mets had kept Jay Bruce instead of improving the team’s middle relief corps…and Jay had hit his 10th Home Run and the Mets were beating Atlanta and…like I said, just a dream.
You flew charter: today could be one of those days where we hear about how late the Mets got in. You are probably eating this around 7:30am. Picture the Mets sleeping in for another 5.5 hours before heading off to the park. Don’t feel bad. Except for Keith Hernandez who had said on TV he was spending the night in Atlanta and flying back today. He’s probably killing time in the Delta Lounge in Atlanta.
Don’t be a scumbag: at the Donuts Chain parking lot this morning people were helping themselves to the handicapped parking spots because it was raining. Don’t be that person.
The Mets might flip Reyes to SS and Cabrera to 3B. I hate this plan. Leave Cabrera alone and play Flores already.
Oh and what’s the timetable on Cespedes guys?
