Will Friday’s Mets-Marlins game be a rain out? My guess is….

Mets Police has no weather expertise.  Make your own plans and don’t get mad at me if I am wrong.

Will tonight’s Mets-Marlins game be rained out?

Let’s consider the factors:

GATE: a Friday night home game. You don’t want to lose the gate

MONTERO: however you would like to skip Montero

SCHEDULE:  tomorrow not awesome.  Sunday DH not ideal.  A day-night split gate DH on Saturday August 18th could be all kinds of attractive to the Mets ticket department (right after the Yankees series), especially if they believe the Marlins will be out of it by then.

WEATHER: a 7% chance of rain at 8pm.  That makes me think that they WILL PLAY THE GAME and talk about the window.  Everyone enjoy a miserable night in Queens and remember, this post is for entertainment purposes only.  If  you travel 9 hours to get there and they don’t play, don’t get mad at me.
