Mets Police Morning Laziness: in which no reporter asks about the lineup?

SLACKISH REACTION: The Mets didn’t post a lineup until like 6:15pm which is crazy late. No explanation was given, which is further proof at the poor state of the 2017 Beat post-Rubin. Were the Mets figuring out who was healthy? Why were they planning to send Cespedes out on a wet field? Just nothing.

Anyway, the Mets sat around for a while and I played video games and then went to my volleyball game where we played like the 1962 Mets and got destroyed.

The good news is Gary Cohen escaped what could have been a very long night and late bedtime, but hopefully the Mets were able to move their charter flight early and everyone gets to sleep in and enjoy a day off in St. Louis.

There is no news and nothing to link to. Maybe we will get Colon today.

Let’s discuss the beat reporters and how we’ve gone from Rubin crushing it to feeling like I am following the team in 1977 again. What do these guys do other than retweet the lineup and tell us the score and tweet when a run scores? Seriously, what’s going on with this crew?
