You will wake up this morning to #TheNarrative.
#TheNarrative is when everyone in Mets-land group-thinks.
Today we have learned that Mickey Callaway is a great hire. Perhaps he is, and I sure hope he is and that he manages the Mets for 30 seasons and wins many rings.
But ask yourself….
How familiar really are NYC National League beat reporters with the pitching coach of the Indians, other than “they hear…”
Now wonder how familiar the guys at Amazing Insiderized Mets Blog are. And your average expert on twitter.
Sure Michael Christopher Callaway seems like a good hire, and I have lived long enough to see the manager of the Mets be younger than me….but ask yourself if anyone pontificating knows anyone about this guy most of us had to Google around 1pm yesterday.
As for me, I know nothing about him. I wonder how the guys in the rotation will respond to someone not that much older than them. Since they didn’t respond to a guy a lot older I am willing to try it.
Also, what the hell are the 2018 Mets anyway – Smith, Rosario, Yo and what exactly? Oh and Wright and Conforto of course.
NOT LINKING: all Callaway all the time, which makes sense.
SLACKISH REACTION: watched some NFL at 1pm, got entertained by the Callaway news, then soccer.
Speaking of soccer, the SoccerYankees looked snazzy in blue and orange at Citi Field, didn’t they?
What a first half from @CitiField. More to come… #NYCFC #DecisionDay pic.twitter.com/p7A3lFjrxN

Here’s how the pitch laid out.
Better off watching this on TV. Paid for 4 premium seats for the season, but have to go buy a crap seat here. #nycfc @NYCFC @mls #trash pic.twitter.com/d0y47G61C6
