As you may have noticed, I had been giving the @mets account a justified hard time fr just doing stupid inane posts. The whole That Face When nonsense crap that pollutes the internet.
That went on for about two weeks after the season, so I figured the guy that runs the account (a very sharp fellow who I am a fan of btw) had taken a vacation.
Then the stupid tweets stopped….maybe I was right about the vacation. Maybe it was two weeks of robo-posts. Hey, I’ve been known to head to Alaska leaving behind two weeks of Caps posts, so I get it.
Anyway, was doing my usual search for Mets and I saw this tweet exchange today. It is lovely.
