DID THE METS GET ANY PLAYERS? Yes! I thought we were done with this. They signed pitcher A.J. Griffin who interestingly has a better career record than Matt Harvey. Griffin gives them more SP depth which is good.
SLACKISH REACTION: I don’t know if anyone got press releases from the Mets yesterday but I didn’t. Their ticket guys sure now how to reach me though. Are ticket sales slow? I feel like I am getting more calls than usual.
#METSFANSUNITED: A reminder to you guys that you drew your line in the sand so don’t come strolling back into town like nothing happened once you see this team has a good chance, especially in a week division.
The newspaper is writing about Gavin Cecchini making his case. I saw the beat writing yesterday that Gavin had put on 15 pounds of muscle. Think about every player ever who shows up at camp with 15 pounds of muscle and how that story ends. I’ll leave that thought there for you.
Finally someone with a brain is paying attention. Mike Vaccaro has me blocked on twitter so I usually ignore him but he correctly writes that the media shouldn’t be fawning over Thor throwing 100 in February but should be wary. I wrote that yesterday.
Thor really wanted everyone to see him with his shirt off so I will comply.

Holy sh*t the Mickey Mafia even got to Howie! Do you people see what I’m saying? Howie Rose throwing around the G word. It’s February 27th people, slow down.

Some new food items are coming to Citi Field. Cheese, Chicken and Waffles. Three stands not one.
