Mets Police Morning Laziness: Rusty Staub Sick, Syndergaard Cocky

“Who is freaking out? People with no baseball expertise? I am not too concerned people saying there is a harm throwing too hard, too early,” Syndergaard told reporters Friday (via ESPN)

Yes Thor.  Me.  Someone with no baseball expertise.  Gonna file this quote away and hope you’re right and I’m wrong.  Oh, and get an MRI next time they ask.  And remember, the norse gods may not, but the baseball gods always humble the cocky.

SLACKISH REACTION:  The power has been out at my place for a day now, and although I have a generator I don’t control Fios, so no internet.  I have sort of service on my phone so you won’t get much blogging from me today.   So let’s blow through this.

Read this one, poor Rusty Staub is not doing well, kidney failure and all.

NOT LINKING:  after a week of “the Mets could do well in a weak division” today we have a “forget it, the Nats are better” in the newspaper.  Let’s just play the games folks.  As I said, I will try my luck with 34 Thor starts.   Oh and depending which article you read, JDG is fine or he is going to miss Opening Day.  Remain calm.

Gonna get out and use my data on other stuff.  LGM.
