Today the Orioles announced a plan that will help address that: the “Kids Cheer Free Initiative,” which gives each adult who purchases an upper deck seat two free tickets for kids nine and under.

The article explains some of the particulars – its through April 29th and then will have some select dates, so it’s not kidsapalooza yet but this is a smart move that should be copied by local sports teams who are losing fans to soccer even if nobody can admit it yet.
